It’s time again for The Atomic Sketch Event to host their monthly art madness on Thursday 1/26 from 6-11pm at the Green Eye Lounge (2403 W. Homer). In addition to live art, this month’s panelists were invited to hang their work for a group show. I’m honored to be part of the fun and will have 2 new pieces on display. I’ll also be making on the spot drawings for $5-$10 or even for free…so for the love of ART, come on out and show your support!
Finding inspiration in the park at Site, Santa Fe
I recently visited New Mexico (one of my favorite states!) and found inspiration in so many ways. You’ll see a strong influence in my color palette from the Land of Enchantment, finding it’s way into my current mixed media works.

THAT MOMENT
I take pictures of things I find interesting.
It could be the subject matter, the color, the lighting…but it’s always because I’m inspired in some way to capture THAT MOMENT.
THAT MOMENT extends into other areas of my art whether consciously or not….it has to, for what I see in THAT MOMENT moves my art forward.
This will be a fun show at CUAS’s new space, so come out and show your support for the “Annual Works On Card Board Exhibition” put together by the Bird House Museum.
The show is for 2 nights only and I’ll be there on Saturday, November 26th around 8pm.
