I recently took a trip to California to see friends, hike and make some art. This is a piece I did for The Shea Family! It was a blast to hang out with this super rad family full of artists and musicians…so much inspiration.

Atomic Sketch Event at Intuit on 3/16 from 6-10pm!
Intuit: The Center for Intuitive and Outsider Art

Chicago, IL
A special one-off event in a unique location, this Atomic Satellite Event has a giant-sized panel of artists making art live and selling it for affordable prices. We will take advantage of the inspiring collection of this interesting museum that is close to our hearts. Featuring beers provided by Anchor Brewing, a special cocktail created by Aviary beverage director, Charles Joly and DJ Gregg Medley from the popular night, Burly at the Burlington Bar.

Atomic Sketch Event and Art Opening!
Atomic Sketch Event
Atomic Sketch Event (ASE) along with the Green Eye Lounge, is proud to present a new show by Kelly D. Pelka. The show, entitled “i might help you or i might let you down…” will open on Thursday, January 31, 2013, from 6-11pm and run until the end of March.
In addition to the show opening, we will have our usual rotating panel of artists. This month the Atomic Sketch Event welcomes:

Art Collab with Ken Carrano

Hanging out with Chicago artist, Ken Carrano as he finishes up working on our art collab for my upcoming show at Green Eye Lounge on Thursday 1/31 from 6-11pm! Come by for the opening as well as the Atomic Sketch Event where myself along with Ken Carrano, Joseph Rade, Naomi Martinez, Brian Stuhr, and John Airo will be on the panel doing live art.
