Kelly D. Pelka is a mixed media artist who has been teaching art classes in the Chicago land area since 1995. Studies include a B.F.A. from Northern Illinois University with an emphasis in Visual communications and a second B.F.A. from University of Illinois at Chicago with and emphasis in Secondary Art Education. Other educational experiences include classes at Parsons School of Design in New York, the Triton College Mural Project, and Taos Institute of Art in New Mexico.
